NEWS & CURRENT EVENTS
  • (Sept 2005) Matilda Systems has participated in the 2005 IBM pSeries Conference in Orlando. This years sessions focused on HACMP functions that can be used in stable mature system environments. For those that attended and would like copies of the scripts we used in the labs please drop an email to contact@matildasystems.com and the url and access instructions will be forwarded.

  • (July 2005) Matilda Systems has been an active participant in presenting a new form of lab intensive training with the folks at IBM. The sessions focus on the participant doing real life, real time configuration of pSeries systems, configuring as many as 10 LPARS that use the advanced virtualization features. For those who have attended the class, the newest materials are available here,the user id is the un-encrypted password used to log into the VNC system and the password is the same one used on the VNC server.   • (March 2005) Matilda has bridged the gap between standard off site formal classroom instruction and onsite consulting by creating an instructor led "Assisted Install" seminar. The main focus of the seminar is to address the comments "I have HACMP installed, now what do I do with it" and "The consultant installed and tested HACMP, now what?". The seminar is performed on your site with a small group of participants to focus on the the issues facing you with your installation environment. Please contact us for more information.

  • (Aug 2004) Matilda participated in the IBM pSeries Conference in Cairns, Austriala. Presenting on administration and new features in HACMP 5.2. The conference was well atteneded from not only Austrailia but other parts of the Pacific rim. Perhaps we might return.
    The staff took in the local sights and spent a few days scuba diving on the Great Barrier Reef, spectacular!

  • (June 1, 2003) Matilda announced today that they are now authorized resellers of Bynari's highly scalable enterprise email server and related products. This family of products provides world-class reliability for hundreds of thousands of users and scales from Intel platforms right up to IBM mainframes. Bynari's products provide seamless interoperability with all versions of Outlook® and other email clients.

  • (mid-September through to mid-October, 2003) Matilda Team members presented in IBM UK's HACMP Fest, a month long series of HACMP training courses.

  • (Q4 2003) Matilda Team members have business engagements scheduled in Australia, Canada, Germany, Hong Kong, Portugal, the Netherlands, the United Kingdom and the United States in the current fiscal quarter. One of the Matilda Team members is scheduled to travel, quite literally, around the world on Matilda business in November.
